The coolest master fantasy painting workshop in East Coast history is coming summer '08!

It is called the 'Illustration Master Class'. With the likes of Rebecca Guay, Boris, Julie Bell, Donato, and Dan Dos Santos as your instructors. And can you believe they somehow let out own art monkey Scott Fischer into the mix to drop some knowledge?

TWINKLE IS OUT! Woo-hoo Scott's first picture book, called 'Twinkle' ( Simon and Schuster) has hit the shelves. It is a retelling of the classic Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. But not with sappy images of childern longingly looking out of windows, heck no! This is a rip roaring adventure through space. With spaceships, aliens, a flying tricycle, and even a robot dog!

Run out and grab the book Kirkus review called, "A natural for budding astronauts."

Oh, and did we mention it is a flipping book (read from both sides) AND, it has a giant pop out spread in the middle? What are you waiting for? Hurry!

Stop what you are doing and run out to your nearest magazine stand to pick up the OCTOBER issue of Realms of Fantasy magazine! ROF did a full feature on Scott, including showing new work from his first Kid's Book 'TWINKLE'!

There is a groovy little interview with Scott at the industry hot spot 'The Art Department', which is the Blog of the ultra cool Irene Gallo- art director for Tor Books.

HOLY COW! Scott is officially a New York Times best selling Illustrator for his work on Peter Pan in Scarlet!

Yowza! Scott is proud as a puppy to announce that Peter Pan in Scarlet by Geraldine McCaughrean has hit the shelves! It is choc full of nearly 40 silhouettes by Scott. And a kick butt cover by Tony Diterlizzi. "It is a once in a career opportunity to illustrate a novel as important as the first ever authorized sequel to Peter Pan in 100 years. To say I am honored is an understatement." Check it out in the Kid's book section!

Hold the Bat-phone Batman! After two years Scott Fischer has actually updated his web site! "So much has transpired in these two years, I don't even know where to begin. I guess the art update will have to say it all for me!"
